Research conducted by Daft.ie has found that 25% of available projects that qualify for the first-time buyers scheme are located in Dublin County. The research, published on Friday, November 25, found that the largest share of qualifying houses were in Dublin, followed by Kildare (14%), Meath (13%) and Cork (6%).

Daft.ie Public Relations and Communications Manager Martin Clancy said, “At the moment we’re continuing to see a lot of increased activity around new home searches. The majority of these searches are also matching up with areas that represent the bulk of properties available that qualify for the first-time buyers scheme, namely Dublin, Kildare and Meath.”

Daft.ie also reported that they received a 67% increase in new home searches in November compared with the same period last year.

The research found that 643 properties qualified for the scheme in Dublin, compared with 344 in Kildare, 318 in Meath, 163 in Cork and 150 in Kerry.
