Chadwicks Group, Ireland’s premier builders’ merchants, celebrated a significant milestone with the unveiling of the revamped Wexford branch. The ribbon-cutting ceremony, attended by Wexford GAA luminaries Lee Chin, Simon Donoghue, Eoin Porter, and Eoghan Nolan, marked the latest achievement in Chadwicks Group’s nationwide branch upgrade initiative, which began in 2018 and has now reached 33 branches across the country. Branch Manager Enda O’Brien led a proficient 19-strong team present at the ceremony.
Chadwicks Wexford, located in Drinagh Business Park and serving local tradespeople and DIY enthusiasts since 1979, underwent a transformative facelift while ensuring an unwavering commitment to customer service. The revitalized branch features a customer-centric design, offering a wide range of tools and materials. Notable additions include state-of-the-art doors, floors, and bathroom showroom, a Paint Centre, and a coffee station, creating a communal hub for locals and trade professionals to connect.
A standout feature of the revamped branch is the Chadwicks ECO Centre, addressing sustainable building practices. The ECO Centre provides information on insulation, heat pumps, solar energy, water-saving products, and ventilation systems. Customers can schedule free appointments for advice on retrofitting their homes through Chadwicks’ collaboration with YourRetrofit.ie.
At the grand opening, Wexford hurling star Lee Chin expressed pleasure at joining Branch Manager Enda O’Brien and the Chadwicks Wexford team. He highlighted Chadwicks Group’s support for Wexford GAA and invited the local community to celebrate the branch’s reopening. Enda O’Brien emphasized the branch’s customer-centric redesign, featuring enhanced layouts, new showrooms, and a dedicated ECO Centre, reinforcing the team’s commitment to delivering top-notch customer service over their 45-year legacy in the Wexford community.
