Exeter Property Company has appointed contractors for the construction of a new 110,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art logistics facility at Greenogue Business Park, just minutes from the Naas Road at Rathcoole. On completion, the company expects to employ over 200 people at the facility, whilst over 50 jobs will be created during construction.

“With the absence of any new supply of logistics facilities in this sub-market for almost 10 years, the new logistics facility will be of significant interest to logistics and 3PL users supporting nationwide distribution. The building will occupy a pivotal high profile, but secure site ideally located to serve the greater Dublin area,” said Mark Nolan, Principal of Exeter Property Group in Ireland.

Woody O’Neill, Divisional Director of Industrial at JJL Ireland, commented: “The project is a vote of confidence in the revived Dublin industrial market. It cements Exeter’s interest in the market, as they continue to seek industrial property investment and development opportunities. Exeter Property Group is the fourth largest owner of logistics property in the world specializing in industrial properties across Europe and the US, through an array of investment vehicles so we are delighted to be working with them on this opportunity.”

Greenogue and Aerodrome Business Parks are one of Ireland’s biggest industrial campus (C. 350 acres). It is an important commercial and services centre for the region, comprising a mix of modern industrial, warehousing and manufacturing facilities.

The Parks also have many greenfield sites and offers a design and build solution for industries requiring bespoke buildings. The Parks have grown considerably over the last 10 years resulting in many local and international names establishing a presence here. They are now home to over 300 companies. These include: Fannin Healthcare, Lucy Transport, Bank of Ireland, Aska Sykes Limited, Zeus Packaging, Emo Oil, Dyson, Liebherr, Cambridge Fine Foods and Univar.

The campus is well laid out and professionally managed with 24/7 on-site security. Amenities include a large filling station, convenience store and restaurant and banking facilities.

The development is expected to be completed by 2018. Woody O’Neill of JLL is handling all enquiries on behalf of Exeter.
