Actavo, a leading international engineering solutions company headquartered in Dublin and operating in 100+ locations worldwide, has appointed Michael Regan as Managing Director, Building Solutions Ireland.

Michael Regan comes to Actavo with over 20 years’ experience in construction across the globe in oil, gas, commercial and residential sectors. His career in Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) has spanned from office-based engineering, bid proposals and project management roles to site based construction management roles ranging from engineering manager to project manager.

His career has taken him from Ireland to Qatar, then Australia and back to Ireland. He was part of the leadership team that delivered the Gorgon LNG 4,600-person construction village on Barrow Island, Western Australia.

Michael is particularly knowledgeable of the Irish construction industry having worked in it for nearly eleven years. In his most recent role in Collen Construction, he was responsible technical, programming and planning components of a successful bid winning team. He has a track record in business winning, safe and successful project execution and P&L management along with an excellent appreciation for meeting client needs & expectations. He has qualifications in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Leadership and Management.

Part of the structural division of Actavo, Building Solutions focuses on designing and manufacturing quality buildings. Using innovative construction techniques to reduce overall construction programmes and time onsite without compromising on design or quality, Building Solutions manages projects from initial planning design, manufacture through to completion with particular expertise in the healthcare, education, corporate, rail and defence sectors.
