Center Parcs submits development plans for Ballymahon project

Holiday resort firm Center Parcs has submitted a planning application for a €233m development near Ballymahon, Co Longford.

750 construction jobs are expected to created and 1,000 permanent jobs as soon as it is fully operational.

Fianna Fáil TD for Longford – Westmeath Robert Troy said:

“This investment highlights the potential that exists to grow the tourism industry in Longford over the coming years. This planning application is a step forward for the project, but it is important that we continue to work hard to secure the development and bring much needed jobs to Longford over the coming years.”
