CNP Santander Insurance, the Irish-based insurance company that designs and manages insurance products for distribution in more than 10 European countries, has announced that it has invested €3.5 million in its Dublin expansion following significant growth over the last three years.

Since 2015, CNP Santander Insurance – which is a joint venture between Santander, one of the top 10 banks in the world, and CNP, France’s leading insurance provider – has trebled its employee count, adding 60 new jobs. These roles have primarily been in the areas of distribution and product development. Driving this job growth has been the company’s expansion into new markets and extension of its product range.

The organisation has now invested in new high-tech offices in Three Park Place, Hatch Street, Dublin 2, and will soon be investing in a new IT platform. These investments are part of CNP Santander Insurance’s strategy to embrace digital opportunities and offer customers across Europe more choice when it comes to insurance protection products.

The company’s 21,000 square foot space has been kitted out with ergonomic desks and chairs for all employees, along with sound-proof pods and meeting rooms equipped with cutting-edge video-conferencing and audio-visual technologies.

Tony Beckwith, CEO, CNP Santander Insurance, said: “At all points of the design process with Todd Architects, we kept innovation in mind and worked with our staff to make decisions regarding the layout and furnishings. For example, we have created a number of breakout areas throughout the office, as well as a communal kitchen area where breakfast is provided every morning.”
