International construction consultancy firm, Bruce Shaw, has announced that it is has rebranded as part of its new global strategic plans going forward. Linesight will be the new name for the company, which has operated for over 40 years in the sector.

The company, which was responsible for a sizeable chunk of the Irish financial services centre (IFSC), has looked further afield from its Belfast base since the challenging climate created by the post-2008 upheaval in the sector. Its global growth plan includes the expansion of its North American operation, as well seeking to expand its presence in the Far East.

The company will operate across a range of 40 markets worldwide, in areas including commercial, data centres, life sciences, high tech industrial, hospitality, healthcare, education, residential and retail.

The rebranding has also seen the alteration of some employee job titles and roles. In Ireland, Peter McHale is now Chairman, Ireland. Richard Joyce will be Managing Director, Ireland, and Ken Cribbin has been appointed Managing Director, Project Management.

Gerard Campbell, Group CEO, says: “With a proven heritage of partnership, resourcefulness, integrity and dedicated client focus we are proud to be in a position to launch Linesight, our global brand.”
