Eddies Hardware Unveils Refurbishment and Rebrand to Chadwicks Drogheda

Eddies Hardware has undergone a refurbishment and as part of the changes will now officially rebrand to Chadwicks Drogheda. The branch has been designed with the customer in mind and the Drogheda showrooms have been completely upgraded to house the latest styles and top brands on the market.

Inside the new showroom, customers will find the latest trends in bathrooms, doors and floors, while the new layout and signage enhance the shopping experience. A brand-new Paint Counter has been installed which will be a one-stop-shop for all painting and protective coating needs for trade and DIY customers. It will stock a full range of Dulux and Johnstone’s paint brands, varnishes and paint accessories, and customers can avail of paint mixing services in-store too.

The rebrand of the Eddies Hardware branch to Chadwicks is part of an ongoing nationwide rebrand by Chadwicks Group which started in 2018. This is the 17th branch to have undergone a refresh and customers will benefit from having the best in building supplies, plumbing and DIY all in one place.

The branch celebrated thirty years in Drogheda last year and has played a major role in the local community during that time supporting various local GAA and soccer clubs as well as local schools. While there have been some major changes to the branch layout, the team who has been serving the people of Drogheda for over thirty years remains. Currently, the branch employs 27 highly trained merchanting specialists across a variety of product groups. The expert team receives regular training on all the latest product innovations in the construction sector to ensure its customers stay on top of the latest trends in the industry.

Commenting on the opening, Noel O’Connor, Chadwicks Drogheda Branch Manager, said: “Eddies Hardware has a strong heritage here in Drogheda, but the team and I are delighted with the rebrand and to start a new chapter as Chadwicks Drogheda. While we’ve been able to make changes to the branch, like adding the new Paint Corner, the same team of experts remain. The difference will really be the enhanced customer experience and we’re looking forward to welcoming customers into the newly refurbished branch.”
