Elliott Group’s Fit Out Division proudly announces the successful completion of an impressive 5500 m2 fit-out project spanning two floors for the recently opened Dunnes Stores in Point Village, just in time for the festive season. The enhanced retail space now features a dynamic market deli, bakery, fishmonger, and a spacious coffee shop, elevating the overall appeal of the development.

This extensive project included the installation of six travelators, two goods lifts, complete customer-facing and non-facing prep kitchens, eight produce coldrooms/freezer rooms, an in-house bakery, sushi counter, and a customer café. Noteworthy is the significant integration of mechanical and electrical components, with works conducted within a 45m mechanical services riser to ensure comprehensive ventilation and refrigeration across both floors. Additionally, numerous elements of secondary structural steel were incorporated throughout the duration of the 16-week project, spanning from August to November 2023.

Elliott Group Fit Out Division expresses gratitude to their client Dunnes Stores, as well as the design team and partners for their collaborative and safe efforts in delivering this highly anticipated fit-out.

David O’Kelly, Contracts Director of Elliott Group Fit Out Division, commends the team’s achievement, stating, “The completion of the new Dunnes Stores serves as a testament to the exceptional quality standards maintained by our team. From procurement to supply chain operations, our team’s commitment to excellence is unwavering. We are thrilled to achieve PC and BCAR on this project and extend our best wishes to Dunnes Stores for continued success in their new establishment.”
