The 291 sq m hub at 16 College Green (above) will offer banking facilities on the doorstep of Trinity College and in the heart of Dublin’s shopping district. The hub, which is KBC’s twelfth retail banking location nationwide, will offer state-of-the-art facilities including a ‘Discovery Zone’ providing interactive technology and access to digital support.
College Green represents KBC’s most exciting hub launch to date and the Bank is due to open three more hubs this year. The expansion is part of KBC’s ongoing development into a retail bank, having successfully launched a full suite of retail banking products and services over the past two years ranging from current and savings accounts to savings and investments, insurance products, credit card, personal loan, mobile app and mortgage offers.
KBC Bank Ireland executive director and head of retail banking Dara Deering commented: “We’re delighting to have secured a fantastic location for our flagship hub in the heart of Dublin’s shopping and commercial zone.
“We’ve become known for our modern hubs but College Green is a further evolution on what we offer customers. It will feature a ‘digi-hub’ consumer experience, where they can research and access our products and services through digital technology and also speak to a customer representative at any time.
The hub will open towards the end of May.
