PADDY Power is set to crop 300 jobs subsequent its merger with Betfair.

The group will now purpose to cut 650 jobs from its workforce of 7,200. Approximately 300 of the job cuts are estimated to affect operations in the Republic of Ireland. The remaining 350 jobs will go in Britain.

Bookie shops will not be hit meanwhile; the cumulative value adjustments will mainly be in the areas of legal, finance and HR.

Redundancies focus on areas which are now being replicated above the enlarged company.paddy
