Planning permission approved for Facebook offices in Meath

Planning permission approved for Facebook offices in Meath

An Bord Pleanála has approved planning permission for Facebook’s planned €200m data centre in Clonee, Co Meath.

When it is operational, the centre will employ 115 people.

The development is expected to take 10 years, with further employment during the construction phase.

Facebook already have an office in Dublin with a capacity of 1,100 workers.

The office mainly works as a support service for other teams across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
