Project Management Holdings (PM Group), the award-winning international project delivery firm headquartered in Ireland with over 2,200 people worldwide, has announced the appointment of Andy Rayner and Anthony O’Rourke to its Board.
Andy Rayner (pictured right) is the Group’s Pharma Sector Director and Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Andy has worked with PM Group since 1989 and has over 30 years of experience, primarily in the pharmaceutical industry. He has worked with many of the leading global companies on projects all over the world and is recognized internationally as a leading expert in the design of pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. Andy is a Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE), a former Chairman of the IChemE Irish Branch and a Chapter Author for the ISPE Guide to Biopharmaceutical Process Development & Manufacturing. A Chemical Engineering graduate of University College London (UCL), he also holds a Masters Degree in Executive Leadership from University of Ulster (UoU).
Anthony O’Rourke (pictured left) is the Operations Director responsible for PM Group’s Ireland and Western Europe operations. Anthony has worked with PM Group since 1994 and has over 30 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical sector. During his career Anthony has worked on projects in Ireland, Europe and the USA. His experience spans all aspects of project delivery including design, construction, commissioning and qualification and he previously worked in senior roles, including Engineering Manager and Operations Manager, as well as managing some of PM Group’s largest client accounts. A Chemical Engineering graduate of Cork Institute of Technology (CIT), he also holds a Masters Degree in Executive Leadership from University of Ulster (UoU).
Announcing the appointments, PM Group Chairman Dan Flinter said: “These two appointments to PM Group’s Board will really augment the already considerable breadth and depth of senior experience available to our business. Between them, Andy and Anthony will bring over 60 years of relevant experience to bear for our Board. I believe that their unique skills and insight into how to effectively deliver for our clients as well as the diversity of their industry experience will serve the Board well.
