Case Study
We were asked by an international client to design, manufacture and install an economiser for a brewery in Manchester as part of an overall project to reduce energy consumption and cost.
The economiser cools the boiler flue gases from 220°C to 136°C and thereby heats boiler feed water from 80°C to 108°C. This results in an increase in boiler efficiency of 5.1% giving a reduction in gas cost of over £100,000 per annum.
