Savills launches Building and Project Consultancy
Global real estate service provider Savills has launched a new Building and Project Consultancy team in its Irish office in order to provide a greater breadth of service for its clients.
The new service offering will be lead up by Allen Devine, who joins Savills from commercial building consultants, Malcolm Hollis LLP.
Devine and his team will offer consultancy services for dilapidations, project management, design and contract administration, development monitoring, technical due diligence and reinstatement cost assessments.
A native of Malahide, Co. Dublin, Allen Devine graduated from Dundalk Institute of Technology in 2011 with a BSc (Hons) Building Surveying. He is a chartered member of both the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI) and Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
Savills Ireland has been providing building and project consultancy services to its clients for a number of years through its UK division, under the leadership of Simon Collett. Due to a surge in demand, the firm has decided to establish a dedicated in-house offering from its Dublin office, linked to the Savills UK & European Building Teams.
Simon Collett, head of building and project consultancy at Savills commented: “We’re delighted to have Allen on board to drive this important new service offering for the Irish office. The landscape of the property industry in Ireland has changed quite dramatically in recent years and, with a significant increase in construction taking place throughout the country, now is an opportune time for us to launch this new division within Savills Ireland.”
Savills was established by Alfred Savill in 1855 in London.
