Sika-Training-CentreDublin-headquartered Sika has announced the opening of their brand new Training Academy facility based at their premises in Ballymun.

This new enlarged centre allows Sika Ireland to train existing loyal contractors to a much higher level and expand the existing Roofing and Flooring training programs to include Concrete, Concrete Repair and Protection, SikaTack Panel and Sikalastic LAM.

Head of the Training Academy for Sika Ireland, Ben Kavanagh, commented “The new training centre has been fitted out to the highest standard and will allow us much greater scope to recruit and train contractors in many of our key business areas including, Flooring, Refurbishment, Concrete, Sealing, Bonding, and Roofing. Because of the extra space we can now under take training on a much larger scale, utilising models and rigs which in the past had to be done outdoors”.

This latest investment of creating an extensive program of training courses demonstrates our dedication to Building Trust and why we are considered the best partner in the Irish Construction Industry.

Sika, the worlds largest producer of specialist building chemicals has a very strong record in Ireland, dating back to the 1920’s when Sika 1 waterproofer was used to prevent water ingress in the Shannon Dam scheme, The Liffey Tunnel and the Currency Commission in Dublin.
