A framework has been tendered for Large Scale Social Housing Projects in the southeast of Ireland.

Wexford County Council is setting up a Multi-Party Framework (MPFW) for social housing projects exceeding €5 million, with no upper limit. The framework will be capped at €250 million, which is the cumulative limit on the value of all projects to be delivered over the duration of the framework.

The framework will include eight contractors and accommodate both Designed by Employer and Designed by Contractor models. It will also be available to regional authorities, including Wicklow, Kilkenny, Waterford, and Carlow.

The first project comprises the construction of a 60 no. residential units in total at Killeens, Wexford, Co. Wexford. This project is representative of the anticipated scale and value of further projects.

While additional contracts under the framework are not guaranteed, any subsequent projects will be awarded via mini-competitions, assessed on cost and quality.

Form of public works contract to be used with initial contract is PW-CF1.

Additional information with respect to the scope of the framework and the initial contract will be provided at stage 2 of the process.

The deadline for receipt of tenders is 24/01/2025.
